TheBrilliantPerformers facial: a how-to

After cleansing the skin, splash half a teaspoon of tonic into cupped palms, then spread across the face and neck—including the bridge of the nose and upper lip. 

Use swift movements across the facial area as follows: 

To start, wrap the fingers of both hands around the nape of the neck, fingertips pointing upwards. Apply gentle pressure and pulse lightly with the fingertips three times. 

Lightly glide your hands down the sides of the neck, resting above the collarbones.

Cup your hands over the cheeks and lightly press into the skin, gently pulsing with your fingertips.

Place three fingers under the cheek bone either side of the nose. Make your way down to the jawline, pulsing the fingertips repeatedly.

To finish, press one palm lightly across the forehead and release.

Dispense a half-teaspoon into the palms, then apply gently for optimum coverage across the face and neck.

Starting from the bridge of the nose, glide three fingers in a semi-circle out to the cheekbones, lifting the skin lightly and ending at the temples. Repeat three times.

Lightly pressing with your middle fingers, sweep down the side of the nose to the jawline.

Glide your palms across the cheeks, past the jawline and across both sides of the neck, finishing at the collarbones.

Sweep alternating palms across the forehead in upward movements. Press one hand across the forehead before gliding both your hands past the temples, down across the cheeks and sides of the neck to finish.
