NBAxTissot “Everyone Gets 24”

The NBA China Games returned to Macao last weekend, Tissot has also unveiled the redesigned second-generation 24-second shot clock. To celebrate the countdown to tip-off, Tissot and the NBA co-hosted the “Everyone Gets 24” pop-up experience at The Peninsula Hong Kong on October 8, marking the exciting return of the games.

The relentless drive to make every moment matter is a mindset shared by NBA athletes and fans alike. At the heart of the “Everyone Gets 24” pop-up is the redesigned shot clock, a tribute to the spirit of determination, intensity and precision. In NBA games, every second counts, and Tissot brings that same commitment to excellence into the game through its precision timekeeping. The immersive experience unfolds across four dynamic zones - the Time Museum, the Tissot Capsule & NBA Time Vault Zone, the GAME ON Zone, and the Time Matrix Zone – offering guests a seamless blend of sports, horology and lifestyle aesthetics.

The new-generation 24-second shot clock, a cutting-edge timekeeping innovation co-developed by Tissot and the NBA after 18 months of research and development. Fans can get an up-close look at this precision-engineered masterpiece and experience the intensity and rhythm of the NBA.

Breaking away from the square format used for over 70 years, the new design introduces a round frame accented with classic colours. It features full RGB LED strips capable of displaying multiple hues, including the new green signal for coach challenges. A streamlined interface enhances game flow and decision accuracy, while the lightweight, modular aluminium build simplifies installation and maintenance.

This fully upgraded shot clock will be officially introduced in arenas worldwide starting with the 2025–26 NBA season and the 2026 WNBA season, marking a new era in basketball timekeeping.
