Singapore Year-End Highlights

With the holiday season underway, Singapore is inviting travelers to enjoy a series of festive events celebrating Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Lunar New Year. As 2025 concludes, the city is alive with holiday markets celebrating the year's achievements and marking the country's SG60 anniversary milestone.
Visitors can immerse themselves in stunning thematic installations, multicultural parades, spectacular live performances, and dazzling fireworks, welcoming 2026 with unparalleled festivities.

Christmas Highlights:
Christmas on a Great Street – Orchard Road (8 Nov 2025 – 1 Jan 2026)
This 42nd annual event features nostalgic Singaporean symbols, a refreshed Christmas Village, and vibrant decorations including the SG60 logo and mascot Merli. The light-up ceremony, organised by Orchard Road Business Association and Community Chest, will be officiated by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, Hitachi, and Mastercard, the event uplifts community spirit and supports over 300 social service programs.
‘Discover Your Good’ – Sentosa Island (10 Nov 2025 – 4 Jan 2026)
Sentosa transforms into a magical Land of Oz inspired wonderland to celebrate the upcoming film Wicked: For Good. Visitors can enjoy immersive installations, interactive experiences, themed food, and merchandise with partners including Universal Pictures and Singapore Tourism Board.
Christmas Train Show – Gardens by the Bay (23 Nov 2025 – 4 Jan 2026)
The second edition features moving trains, miniature landscapes, Lego creations, and festive plants. Celebrating Singapore's 60th, the show includes a special G scale SMRT train crafted from recycled wood by local artisans.
Sands Live Season (20 Dec 2025 – 4 Jan 2026)
Marina Bay Sands hosts a series of concerts featuring prominent artists such as Hailai Amu, Tiger Huang, Ricky Hsiao, Frances Yip, Maria Cordero, Elisa Chan, Kenny Bee, and Air Supply celebrating 50 years.

Royal Albatross Christmas Cruise (3 – 28 Dec 2025)
Experience a luxury tall ship with live music, festive dining including Christmas-themed dinners and buffets with free-flow drinks.

SINGLAND FESTIVAL (31 Dec 2025 and 2–3 Jan 2026)

Singapore’s first large-scale indoor New Year celebration at Marina Bay Sands features live shows by Henry Lau, Ne-Yo, Rain, and Terry Lin, blending pop, R&B, and ballads with immersive visuals.

River Hongbao (15 – 24 Feb 2026)
Held at Gardens by the Bay, this carnival features giant lantern displays, amusement rides, food stalls, and nightly stage performances, perfect for family celebrations.
