Hong Kong CeraMarket

Infinite Possibilities of Vessels and Life

As the warmth of spring approaches, Central Market will once again transform into an urban cultural oasis. The 2nd Hong Kong CeraMarket returns from 1 to 14 April 2026, officially themed “The Dialogue... Flowers and Ceramics,” bringing a sensory journey that merges ceramic art with Japan’s Sogetsu school of Ikebana. Through a curated series of cross-disciplinary exhibitions, masterclass demonstrations, a ceramic market featuring artisans from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan, and in-depth handicraft workshops, visitors are invited to experience the vibrant synergy of clay and floral within this historically significant landmark.

The centerpiece of this year's festival, the “The Dialogue... Flowers and Ceramics” joint exhibition, will be held at G/F Oasis. The project is led by seasoned ceramicist Ng Ka Ho, and curated by the Hong Kong CeraMarket team, Scott Ngan and Heidi Choi. This year marks the first-ever integration of Ikebana elements, exploring ceramics as a vessel for life. The showcase features over 30 ceramicists from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan, alongside acclaimed artists Karena Lam and Margiela Kwok, presenting bespoke vessels inspired by “Jiyuka (Free Style Floral Design). The star-studded lineup transcends borders, featuring works such as Rosanna Li’s “I’m my flowers’ vase”, Lu Dong Chuan’s (Taiwan Gold Teapot Award Silver Medalist) wood-fired vessels, Chris Lo Sze Lim’s (Cobo Ceramic Workshop from Taiwan) creations, Yokky Wong’s (FLOW+ Living from Taiwan) lotus-themed pieces, Annie Wan’s Dancing with Flowers, and creations by rising Japanese ceramicist Yusaku Suzuki, as well as unique vessels by Karena Lam and Margiela Kwok. Throughout the exhibition, docents will be on-site to guide visitors through the artistic depths of each piece.
During the exhibition, visitors can participate in “The Dialogue…Flowers and Ceramics” PHOTOFUN activity. By sharing photos of their favourite works on social media and tagging @centralmarkethk and @hkceramarket, guests can receive a complimentary mini ceramic vase or a floral  incense holder (available in limited daily quantities).
