PAÑPURI UNVEILS A NEW CHAPTER
PAÑPURI, Thailand’s leading niche fragrance and holistic wellness lifestyle brand, continues its expansion in Hong Kong with two new destinations: a limited-time pop-up at Hysan Place, open from 11 August to 10 September 2026, followed by its latest store at Pacific Place, opening on 30 September 2026.
The two openings are conceived not as separate spaces, but as chapters of one evolving design journey. Beginning at the main atrium of Hysan Place, the pop-up introduces a fluid retail environment that reflects PAÑPURI’s sensorial approach to fragrance and design. From there, the journey continues to Pacific Place, carrying forward the same creative narrative in a new expression at one of Hong Kong’s leading luxury retail destinations.
“Hong Kong continues to be an important market for PAÑPURI, and we strongly believe in the potential of cities where there is a deep appreciation for fragrance, design and meaningful experiences,” says Vorravit Siripark, Founder & CEO of PAÑPURI. “Our approach to expansion has always been thoughtful—we look for the right locations where the brand can grow naturally and build a lasting connection with the local community. The openings at Hysan Place and Pacific Place reflect our confidence in Hong Kong and our commitment to strengthening PAÑPURI’s presence in the city and across Asia.”
A QUIET CURRENT: A DESIGN SHAPED BY MOVEMENT
Designed by DEFT (Design Eight Five Two), both spaces share the design narrative “A Quiet Current,” inspired by Hong Kong’s distinctive geography as a harbour city and the movement of wind from open water into the urban landscape. Throughout history, harbour cities have been shaped by currents—of trade, culture, people and air. Here, that continuous movement becomes the starting point for the architecture.
Wind has no fixed form, yet it changes the way space is experienced—gathering in open areas, accelerating through narrow passages and softening as it meets curved surfaces. Drawing from this natural rhythm, the Hysan Place installation is conceived as an open, permeable structure. Curved partitions allow light and air to pass through, while open edges invite movement from multiple directions. Across layered surfaces, light settles into subtle gradients and shadows shift gently as visitors move through the space. The result is fluid yet calm—a space shaped by movement without being defined by it. Like wind passing through a harbour city, A Quiet Current is designed to adapt and evolve, connecting the experience at Hysan Place with its next expression at Pacific Place.
Nature carries this movement further through an Asian floral art installation inspired by the winged seeds of the Yang Na tree. Released into the air, the seeds drift and spiral with the wind before finding a place to settle. Their graceful movement becomes a metaphor for freedom, fluidity and an ongoing journey, translated into dynamic forms that appear to move through the space.
The installation brings nature into dialogue with the built environment, echoing the wider narrative of wind travelling from sea to harbour and into the city. At Hysan Place, this sense of openness continues throughout the experience, inviting visitors to move freely between spaces dedicated to fragrance discovery, sensorial exploration, consultation and gifting.
MOVEMENT THAT LEAVES A TRACE
At the heart of both destinations is PAÑPURI Care Eau de Parfum, the brand’s latest fragrance collection and the key product focus of the Hong Kong openings.
Bringing together 10 scents, Care Eau de Parfum reimagines fragrance as an intimate act of care. Its alcohol-free, water-based formulation is designed for skin, body and hair, offering a more personal approach to wearing fragrance—one that remains close to the body rather than being defined by projection.
Inspired by memory, emotion and identity, the collection reflects PAÑPURI’s belief that fragrance can become a quiet presence in everyday life: close to the skin, close to the self. Retail design carries this philosophy into the space through the Indio pattern, a key visual element of the Care Eau de Parfum collection. Created through repetition and layering, the pattern explores the idea of what remains—how a fleeting movement or moment can leave a lasting trace.
Within the space, movement becomes something enduring, creating a visual dialogue with fragrance and the way scent can remain in memory long after a moment has passed.
FROM HYSAN PLACE TO PACIFIC PLACE: THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
The journey begins at the main atrium of Hysan Place on 11 August, where the PAÑPURI pop-up welcomes visitors until 10 September 2026. More than a temporary destination, Hysan Place introduces A Quiet Current through an open and fluid expression of PAÑPURI’s sensorial world.
From there, the journey continues to Pacific Place on 30 September 2026, bringing the narrative into another prominent luxury destination in the heart of Hong Kong. Here, the concept evolves into a new expression while retaining the sense of movement, fluidity and quiet discovery that defines A Quiet Current.
The Pacific Place store extends PAÑPURI’s sensorial universe through fragrance discovery and consultation, alongside dedicated spaces for display, gifting and customer engagement. Together, Hysan Place and Pacific Place represent a continuous journey through Hong Kong—moving from one distinctive destination to the next while strengthening PAÑPURI’s presence in the city. Each space offers its own expression, yet both are connected by a shared sensibility rooted in fragrance, nature, design and the quiet moments found within movement.
The two destinations mark another chapter in PAÑPURI’s growing presence in Hong Kong and its wider journey across Asia, continuing the brand’s vision of creating sensorial experiences that transcend boundaries and invite moments of pause, discovery and connection.
Like a current moving through the city, the journey continues—changing in form, while leaving something behind.
